Consignment Terms
An account will be set up for you once we receive all your information. All merchandise will be entered into your account and ticketed with a barcode for tracking.
The contract period is typically 90 days. If you want unsold items back, you must pick them up within 2 weeks after the 90 days unless previously agreed on with the owners. Anything not picked up will be donated to charity. It is up to you to keep track of all dates. You may request a tax receipt.
Fashion Avenue uses a Sensormatic security system. We take every precaution to protect your items, however, we are not responsible for any theft, damage or loss.
Designer items like Hermes, Chanel & Louis Vuitton bags are priced much higher, often 50 – 75% of current retail price, depending on condition and age, and we typically do not discount or donate them unless we contact you. Please speak to the owner about any special items you may have.
We price items approximately 25 to 33% of original price, new and current styles are priced higher. You receive 50% of the selling price. We reserve the right to reprice items as necessary.
Most items are automatically marked down 20% after 45 days and 50% after 75 days.
Checks for account balances of $50 or over are automatically mailed on the 10th of the month for previous month’s sales. If your balance is under $50 at the end of the month, you may call ahead to have your check printed for pick-up at Fashion Avenue 2. You may also use store credit or accumulate the balance.
By leaving or sending your items to us to sell, you are agreeing to the terms as stated above. Please note: we do not do return shipping.
